Subiesport to premiere on TACH-TV Network

KIRKLAND, WASHINGTON, July 10, 2012 — MediaSpigot LLC announced that it has signed with TACH-TV (a partnership of The Auto Channel and WHDT World Television Service) to bring its newest series, Subiesport, to TACH-TV’s terrestrial and cable broadcast customers.

Based on the popular print magazine of the same name, Subiesport features Subaru vehicles and their owners as they engage in driving adventures, show off their latest modifications or take their cars to the edge in drift, rally and other extreme sports. The series is currently in pre-production with a premiere scheduled for Fall 2012.

“Signing a network broadcast partner this early in the show’s development is very exciting. Not just for us, but for all the Subaru enthusiasts that we can now bring to national attention,” said Ryan Douthit, producer and creator of the series. “From the beginning we saw Subiesport as a model for a new generation of hyper-focused mobile, desktop and broadcast enthusiast programming. We’re lucky to have a partner like TACH-TV that shares this progressive vision.”

Marc J. Rauch, Executive Vice President of TACH-TV agrees with Douthit’s approach. “At the heart of it, we’re both car guys. TACH-TV was built for real enthusiasts like us. We’re not about drama. We’re about cars.” Rauch continued, “A fan-focused series like Subiesport is a perfect fit and we can’t wait to bring it to our customers.”

TACH-TV is currently broadcasting on several over-the-air and cable channels in Florida with additional channels in California, Boston, Philadelphia and Kentucky launching in time for Subiesport’s Fall premiere. Subiesport will also be available on the official website for the series, www.subiesport.tv, as well as on YouTube, Blip.tv and several other online networks.
